Memorial Park is open again

Our “backyard park” re-opens tomorrow Friday, May 28! Located just 2 minutes down the road, Memorial Park has been under renovations for the last year and now has accessible restrooms, showers, and water fountains, plus a new wastewater treatment plant.

San Mateo Memorial Park has been a family favorite destination for almost a century. Home to towering redwood trees in the Santa Cruz Mountains, there are picnic and camping areas, hiking trails - including connections to nearby Sam McDonald Park, naturalist walks, weekend movie screenings, camps, and a swimming hole in Pescadero Creek.
