Online Event: Climate Action in Rural Communities

This is an upcoming online event that we think is important for our community, so we’re sharing it on behalf of Sustainable Pescadero.

“Recent wildfires have devastated our Coastside communities, and climate change makes wildfire events like these worse. We can work together to reduce the emissions that lead to climate change. The County climate plan and the City of Half Moon Bay CAAP will set goals and strategies to reduce the pollution that causes climate change so we can do our part to reduce the risk and frequency of severe weather and other climate change impacts in the future while building a more older adult-friendly community across the Coastside.

This is your chance to weigh in on an important planning process for your neighborhood and community!

We invite EVERYONE to weigh in and participate whether you are joining the conversation or have attended past events. You do not need to know anything about climate change to participate and the workshops will have new questions and expanded topics from past events.”
